What's up, everyone? Today I'll be taking you guys through Customer Relationship Management, and how you can use Salesforce's tools to your advantage!
Customer Relationship Management or CRM, is a strategy and technology that analyses and manages customer interactions in order to streamline operations, improve connections, and increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
Salesforce is a well-known corporation that provides cloud-based CRM software and services. It is frequently used for customer service improvement, customer relationship management, and sales and marketing automation. Salesforce is noted for its scalability and versatility, serving organisations of all kinds, offering a variety of extra services in addition to CRM.
CRM Analytics
Salesforce offers "CRM Analytics", a unique analytics platform. This platform incorporates artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance customer relationship management (CRM). I learned how it enables customers to derive real-time insights from their data and make informed decisions. CRM analytics is described as secure, immersive, scalable, and mobile-friendly, providing immediate access to data insights for users.
CRM analytics seeks to assist users in understanding their data and using it to achieve their business goals. It supports data integration from various sources and includes tools for data management, AI-powered app development, no-code AI for predictions and recommendations, and intelligent analytics for collaboration
.
If you face challenges related to decentralised data, struggle to understand your data, require real-time data analysis, rely on IT for data processing, or need data insights to improve your business, I believe CRM could be the right choice for you.
Salesforce Industry Blueprints: Quick Look
Industry blueprints are product-independent instructions provided by Salesforce to assist clients in making the most of their offerings. These blueprints provide an overview of key business capabilities that are common to most customers and offer a comprehensive view of processes from identifying opportunities to finding industry-specific solutions.
Salesforce industry plans are created using customer insights, industry trends, and partner feedback, they represent Salesforce's point of view. They help align stakeholders by highlighting crucial capabilities for an organisation and can be assessed with the help of Salesforce account teams or partners to meet specific business needs.
APIs, Platform Enablers, and Data Sources, which I think are necessary across all business activities, are often included in an industry blueprint. It helps map business capabilities to different customer lifecycle stages, determine which capabilities are most crucial for an organisation, and understand the high-level platform capabilities required to support the business.
The Retail Industry Blueprint, for example, includes competencies such as developing the workforce of the future, meeting customers where they are, leveraging data and insights for innovation, and optimising business partnerships. In my opinion these skills are essential for a retailer to succeed at each stage of its business lifecycle.
Sales Forecasting: Quick Look
Forecasting is a crucial aspect of managing a company's sales health and planning for the future. It entails analysing opportunities, comparing them to sales quotas, and adjusting as opportunities proceed through the sales cycle. Sales representatives, managers, directors, and executives all rely on forecasts to assess performance and make informed decisions.
By providing real-time data and customisation possibilities, Salesforce's Collaborative projections feature in the creation of accurate and confident projections. I learned that by using this feature you can work with up-to-date information, customise the forecasts to match your company's needs and visualise changes and comparisons using built-in charts. This leads to more effective sales processes and more informed decision-making, which can lead to more sales.
